The Weekend! Oct. 21-23. The Dinner Party. South Africa Trip.

Cape Point, Cape Town South Africa

No matter if it’s a quick and easy meal or an Instagram worthy feast a cozy fall night is the perfect time for a dinner party – enjoying a convivial evening of good food and conversation with old or new friends. What could be better this weekend? Bring on the dinner party!

Recently I was invited to a fun and casual dinner where I only knew the host. The evening  celebrated the return visit to Oakville by South Africans Melinda and Stephen Woodhead . The Woodhead’s lived in Oakville for many years, bringing up their two children here. They eventually returned to South Africa where they both grew up and have an extensive knowledge and love of their homeland.

Oakville Dinner Party: simple casual and delicious Pork Stew, Broccoli and Mashed Potatoes. Dessert of Baked Apples. Wine too! Of course!
